Join us on April 9th, 2008 for the third annual Prop. 36 rally in Sacramento!

Prop 36 is a hugely successful program that has already graduated over 84,000 Californians, but it’s not going to protect itself. If you believe that treatment works and that recovery happens get involved!

Celebrate with us at the second annual “Prop 36 Works!” rally in Sacramento on April 9th!

WHO SHOULD COME TO THE RALLY:
Prop 36 grads and supporters of prison diversion, social justice, recovery and rehabilitation, and more!

WHAT:
A rally & march to celebrate and support Prop 36—and an advocacy training!

WHERE:
Sacramento Capitol Building, NORTH STEPS.

WHEN:
April 9th 2008, 10am-4pm!
(10am sign-in; 11am rally & march; 1pm lunch & advocacy training; 3pm support groups)

Check out the event flyer here. Let us know if you would like to show your support, by adding your organization’s logo to the flyer!

For more information about participating in, supporting or co-sponsoring the rally, contact Margaret Dooley-Sammuli or submit a comment on this website.

Wondering what else you can do? Here are some important things to do:

  • Share your Prop. 36 success story
  • Where ever you are, tell your family, friends, neighbors and legislators—by calling, writing or visiting—that Prop 36 works because treatment works! Incarceration doesn’t!
